Jeep, a US SUV brand struggling with declining sales in recent years, believes its new electric SUV models can challenge Tesla's dominance in the market. The first fully electric model, Wagoneer S, will launch later this year with high performance and premium features, aiming to attract young, high-income buyers. Jeep is also introducing a second EV, Recon, inspired by the Wrangler, which is expected to have removable doors and windows. The brand aims to revive sales and gain market share in the US and globally with these new electric offerings.
