Polestar officially launched the sales of its electric SUV model, the Polestar 4, in the US, while offering a free smartphone to certain EV customers in China. The Polestar Phone, designed with help from subsidiary Meizu, is now available for purchase in China at RMB 3,888 (around $578). Production of the Polestar 4 in the US is expected to begin in Q3 2024, with initial deliveries planned for Q4.
