Google Maps is adding new features to help Electric Vehicle (EV) drivers locate and plan charging stops. Starting in the coming month, users will see AI-powered summaries describing a charger's specific location based on user reviews, real-time port availability, and charging speed. Additionally, ideal EV charging stops will be suggested during multi-stop road trips based on charge level. These features will initially roll out for vehicles with Google built-in systems, such as those by Volvo, Polestar, and GMC.
